Cirrus Identity has been busy expanding our suite of services, and we are proud to announce our new Guest Management package. This packages combines social identity login (with our familiar social-to-saml gateway), a stand-alone external identity provider (branded with your campus look and feel) for users who don't want to use social login, our invitation service, an account linking service, an identity provider proxy, and APIs to integrate with your enterprise identity systems. Together, these services enhance the user experience for guests trying to gain online access at universities.

The growing need for campuses to simplify guest access to online services hasn’t been met with a viable solution, until now.

Like many of you, we woke up this morning to confirmations that Gravitational Waves HAVE been detected. This is exciting news for a few reasons. The obvious reason is that this new data will only further our understanding of the universe.

Today, an article came out in the Huffington Post offering advice about what really matters through the college application process. The key, the author Michael Mulligan, says is to "work hard, do good, and light the fires of your own genuine curiosity". We love that: "Light the fires of your own genuine curiosity." In a world where we have access to as much information as we do, the only way to standout is to be our authentic and passionate selves. YES. 

As Cirrus Identity grows, all parts of our business have to change too. We have to find more desks for our team to work at, we have to formalize processes and make them scalable. You get the point.

We are thrilled to be a part of 500 Startups

3rd quarter has been a whirlwind for us here at Cirrus Identity. Our last post was about adding 4 new members to our Cirrus team. Today we want to share with you that we have joined the 500 Startups Accelerator in Mountain View, California.

OUR TEAM IS GROWING

The Cirrus Identity team is growing to support our expanding customer base. Two new full-time engineers have joined the Cirrus team: Rob Urquhart, who served as the lead identity architect at Simon Fraser University for over 20 years, will be working on technical design and development as a Principal Identity Engineer. Patrick Radtke, who worked on the Stanford University identity management team for four years and spent the last year working on SAML integrations for SaaS at Jive Software, will also serve as a Principal Identity Engineer, enhancing existing and developing new services.
