Dedra Chamberlin

Dedra is an identity management geek who decided to take her experience in higher education identity management and start a company so that she can deliver quality identity services to many campuses and organizations instead of just one. She has led identity and access management strategy at leading universities, as Deputy Director of Identity Management at UC Berkeley and UCSF, and as Chair of UC Trust, the workgroup which sets identity strategy for the University of California system. She has participated in numerous nation-wide identity strategy workgroups and speaks regularly at higher ed IT conferences. Dedra knows the pain points of digital identity management because she’s lived them, and as leader of Cirrus Identity, she is bringing innovative, easy-to-integrate identity solutions to educational institutions and companies around the globe.

Cirrus Identity has been busy expanding our suite of services, and we are proud to announce our new Comprehensive Guest Account Management package. This packages combines social identity login (with our familiar social-to-saml gateway), a stand-alone identity provider (branded with your campus look and feel) for users who don't want to use social login, our invitation service, an account linking service, an identity provider proxy, and APIs to integrate with your enterprise identity systems. Together, these services enhance the user experience for guests trying to gain online access at universities.

The growing need for campuses to simplify guest access to online services hasn’t been met with a viable solution, until now.
