Recent email from Google regarding shutdown of Google+ APIs

What happened?

On January 29, 2019 Cirrus Identity received an automated message from “GoogleDevelopers-noreply@google.com” with a title of “[Action Required] Google+ APIs and OAuth requests are being shutdown on March 7, 2019” (see above).

Customers have received similar messages and asked if any action is needed. This posting outlines what Cirrus Identity has already done and our recommended action for customers.

Notice about LinkedIn API V2

What happened?

LinkedIn sent a notice titled "Important updates to the LinkedIn Developers program and APIs" to account holders that have setup API integrations. This would include any administrators that have setup LinkedIn login integrations for the Cirrus Gateway.

What’s Changing?

LinkedIn has released updates to their APIs and Cirrus Identity will be updating our service to use these new versions. No action is required and no application changes are needed. Your application will still use the same api key/secret, and will still get the same attributes from LinkedIn.
