We are excited to share with you some of our most recent implementations from April and May 2025:
- Eastern Michigan University - Eastern Michigan was a speedy implementation of the Cirrus Bridge for Entra ID for CAS applications with Banner as the primary use case. They were incredibly prepared with all attributes in Entra ID, their list of CAS service urls, and the mapping between the two so that we were able to quickly configure and test. Equally speedy was their integration of the Log API with Splunk. Everything was completed in just four weeks from start to finish.
- New Mexico State University - NMSU migrated from multiple Quicklaunch instances to a Cirrus Bridge with Entra ID for SAML and CAS applications. NMSU was an existing InCommon member who chose to register a new identity provider that allowed them flexibility in being able to migrate applications over one by one. Additionally, they were able to further consolidate their dev and test instances into their production Entra ID through additional enterprise applications that involved transformations of domain names to the values for dev and test.
- Nunavut Arctic College - In partnership with Steeves and Associates in Canada, Nunavut Arctic College (NAC) implemented the Cirrus Bridge with Entra ID to connect with applications that are part of the Canadian Access Federation (CAF).
- Vanderbilt University - Vanderbilt is an existing InCommon member who migrated from PingFederate to the Cirrus Bridge for Okta for InCommon SPs only. Vanderbilt decided to integrate non-InCommon SPs directly with Okta and register a new entity ID with InCommon with the Bridge. They are also using the Log API to integrate with their SIEM tool.
- William and Mary - William and Mary completed the first step in their two-step conversion from Shibboleth to the Cirrus Bridge for Entra ID for SAML and CAS service providers. After a long testing period they went live in May, utilizing the DNS Add-On for the SAML domain so that they did not have to coordinate with all of the SPs to cut over. Next up is the CAS migration.
