We are excited to share with you some of our most recent implementations from September:
SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory - SLAC has leveraged the Cirrus Identity Proxy to enable users from Stanford and SLAC to access shared applications including over 50 Drupal sites and a timekeeping system! Nice work SLAC team!
University of California, Riverside - UC Riverside has now implemented the Cirrus Identity external login solutions for applicants using their Job Portal. Applicants can choose to use a Google, Microsoft, LinkedIn or UCR Guest Login (Cirrus Identity OrgBrandedID) to access their Job Portal and manage their own passwords. Great job UCR!
University of Miami - University of Miami is now utilizing the Cirrus Identity SAML Bridge integrated with Entra ID. Their legacy Identity Providers can now be unregistered from InCommon without disruption. Duo MFA and conditional access are also configured in Entra ID. Congratulations on an extremely fast implementation!
University of Nevada, Las Vegas - UNLV is developing a Salesforce Research Tenant that will serve as a portal for researchers across the country. UNLV is leveraging the Cirrus Identity External Login solution for authentication. This allows users to authenticate with their Google, Microsoft, LinkedIn, Apple, Amazon or ORCiD accounts. UNLV is also integrating the Cirrus Identity OrgBrandedID product, a Cirrus hosted username and password for guests. To prevent duplicates, they are leveraging the Cirrus Identity IDVerify Add-On, which links UNLV identifiers to external identifiers that will then be associated with the same user record. Way to go UNLV!
University of Northern British Columbia - UNBC integrated the Cirrus Identity CAS Bridge with Entra ID. After configuring Entra ID to release the required attributes for CAS applications and testing, UNBC used the Cirrus DNS Add-On to transition the authentication traffic (including Banner) from the existing CAS service to the Cirrus CAS Bridge. UNBC can now retire their existing CAS service - congratulations!
University of Redlands - As a new InCommon member, the University of Redlands is using the Cirrus Identity SAML Bridge integrated with their Entra ID tenant. End users primarily use Duo for MFA but may transition to Entra ID MFA in the future as more SPs move away from ADFS. Congratulations University of Redlands!
