Happy Fall! We are excited to share with you some of our most recent implementations from October 2025:
October 2025
- Providence College - Providence successfully went live with its Cirrus Slate Proxy Connector and Cirrus Proxy, enabling applicants to log into a critical financial aid application using their Slate credentials, while also allowing matriculated students to access the same application with their campus credentials. Additionally, Providence implemented Cirrus’ One-Time Code MFA, enhancing applicants' security by requiring multi-factor authentication when using Slate credentials to access financial aid.
- Texas Transportation Institute - TAMU TTI went live with an Enterprise Bridge for Entra ID which they registered in InCommon. Since they were new to InCommon, this was a speedy implementation where they were up and running within a week.
- TAMU System - The TAMU System Office went live with our first eduroam pilot implementation with Entra ID and the Hosted eduroam solution for roaming access to eduroam hotspots. TAMU System were already experts with setting up LDAP for a Microsoft Entra Domain Services managed domain and were able to quickly provide the needed information to connect and configure the service. Cirrus then provisioned and configured the RADIUS-in-the-cloud Server hosted with Painless Security and worked with TAMU System to register the new RADIUS server with InCommon to connect with the eduroam network. After a little bit of troubleshooting, we were able to get it up and running. Everything was up and running with successful connections within a week, allowing TAMU System staff to use their TAMU System credentials to access the internet at any university, research lab, library, or other location broadcasting the eduroam service. A huge thank you to TAMU System for the early adoption and helping us with this great community project!
