We are excited to share with you some of our most recent implementations from August and September 2025:
August 2025
- Boise State University – Boise State University implemented the Enterprise Bridge for Entra ID for SAML applications in InCommon. Since they were an existing InCommon member, we migrated their existing entity ID to the Bridge with the DNS Add-On and connected GrayLog to the LogAPI for log file ingestion.
- Broad Institute – Broad Institute successfully migrated their existing InCommon IdP to the Standalone Bridge with Okta. Since their use case only involved one authentication profile for the InCommon service providers used and their security team preferred to limit Bridge access to Okta, they were able to use the Standalone Bridge to accomplish both goals. Since Broad was an existing InCommon member, we migrated their existing entity ID to the Bridge with the DNS Add-On and connected Chronicle SIEM to the LogAPI for log file ingestion.
- Denison University – Denison University completed our first implementation of the Enterprise Bridge with Duo SSO into production. Denison migrated from the WSO2 IdP for SAML applications to using Duo SSO connected with RapidIdentity for attribute release. Denison utilized our DNS Add-On to migrate their SAML IdP existing configuration and avoid having to update information with existing service providers.
- New Jersey Institute of Technology (NJIT) – In partnership with Moran Technology Group, NJIT implemented an Enterprise Okta Bridge for many SAML and CAS service providers. NJIT migrated their existing identity provider to the Cirrus Bridge and kept their existing entity ID configuration through use of the DNS Add-On.
- NYU Langone Health (NYULH) – NYULH went live with the Cirrus SAML Enterprise Bridge, allowing users to access InCommon-federated applications with their NYULH Entra ID credentials.
- SUNY Cortland – SUNY Cortland completed a quick migration from their Standalone Bridge with ADFS to an Enterprise Bridge with Entra ID for their CAS applications primarily for Banner. With this migration, they gained the greater flexibility and control over their configuration available through Enterprise Bridges.
September 2025
- Copper Mountain Community College District – Copper Mountain Community College District was our second Enterprise Bridge with Duo SSO to move into production, but they were the first to configure the Bridge with Duo SSO. In order to access InCommon applications and applications that were part of the California Community Colleges Chancellor’s Office, Copper Mountain migrated their existing identity provider configuration through use of the DNS Add-On. This implementation demonstrates how Cirrus Identity can integrate with state-level educational systems while maintaining local authentication controls.
- West Virginia University (WVU) – West Virginia University successfully implemented the Cirrus CAS Enterprise Bridge, enabling users to access WVU’s CAS applications using their WVU Okta credentials.
