We are excited to share with you some of our most recent implementations from August:

Grand Valley State University - Grand Valley State implemented the Cirrus Identity SAML Bridge in approximately two weeks! They registered with InCommon and are now utilizing the Cirrus SAML Bridge for multilateral federation with their Okta Identity Provider. Grand Valley State users can two-factor with either Duo or Okta. Congratulations on your quick implementation!

Oregon State University - Oregon State implemented the Cirrus Identity CAS and SAML Bridges with Entra ID, allowing them to retire CAS and Shibboleth. They have over 130 non-InCommon SPs so they used the Cirrus DNS Add-On to cutover, leaving their InCommon registration and SP metadata as is. They also used the Cirrus Attribute Authority Add-On to import attributes only available in LDAP that they preferred to manage in LDAP for security reasons. Oregon State had an excellent communication plan and senior management support which was beneficial for their rollout!

Thompson Rivers University - Thompson Rivers University moved to Entra ID as their primary Identity Provider with Duo MFA. The Cirrus Identity CAS and SAML Bridges were configured with Entra ID. Thompson Rivers tested about 20 SPs and migrated them to the new Cirrus Bridges. Now, they can retire CAS and Shibboleth. Congratulations Thompson Rivers!

UMass Dartmouth - The Cirrus Identity Proxy and Slate Bridge have been implemented to allow applicants to use their Slate username/password to access StarRez, Campus Logic and Advantage Design Group for online orientation. UMass Dartmouth also implemented the Cirrus CAS and SAML Bridges with Entra ID, enabling the retirement of CAS and Shibboleth, and cutover with the Cirrus DNS Add-On. Congratulations UMass Dartmouth!
